TangoTunes is an Austrian-Argentine project dedicated to preserving the music and culture of Tango Argentino/rioplatense, which was declared World Heritage a decade ago. Through our music, we aim to support and promote Argentinian culture, which has inspired people worldwide.
At TangoTunes, we acquire carefully selected collections of vinyl and shellac records from collectors in Argentina and Uruguay and undergo a highly intricate process to digitize them.
Since the beginning of 2013, we have successfully digitized approximately 100 vinyl records and 2,500 shellac records with meticulous precision and care.
We offer these transfers of Tango recordings, our cherished tunes to Tango enthusiasts through our online store. Our product catalog is continuously expanding, so we encourage you to visit us regularly. We hope to welcome you back soon.
