Our team of music enthusiasts
Our current team at TangoTunes along the digitalization chain works from Austria to Argentina.
We constantly are on the search for tango collections we may acquire. Argentina and Uruguay are most of the time the places we succeed but sometimes we have luck and are gifted with a tango collection from other areas which happened some years ago in the US.

We really promise to provide a team shot with our real shoes and faces...
We came a long way with the help and support of former contributors. You are still part of this. Thank you!
Christian Tobler
Audio Transfers and Restoration (April 2019-Dec 2023)
Christian has been the driving force behind TangoTunes' audio quality improvements. His meticulous work and expertise have significantly enhanced the quality of our transfers. He played a pivotal role in supervising the D'Arienzo Golden Ear (1935-1939), as well as the Di Sarli and Troilo Golden Ear projects. Additionally, Christian was responsible for the Golden Ear transfers of De Angelis and Tanturi/Campos. His dedication and skill have made a lasting impact on our audio restoration efforts.
Andrew Hallifax
Until March 2019, Andrew, the versatile and knowledgable "Acoustic Music Location Recording Engineer & Producer", was responsible for TangoTunes' Audio Transfers and Restoration. It is hard to imagine where our sound would be today without Andrew's valuable impact.
Frank Jin
Frank was trained as a violinist and has added a lot to the difficult subject of "the right pitch". He was highly involved in and responsible for some of the transfers of Todo de Juan and Todo de Ricardo. And, not to be underestimated, Frank sorted the quite comprehensive vinyl's collection of TangoTunes.
Roberta Mägli
The all-round artist (in music and life) Roberta supported us in translation, support and backoffice during TangoTunes' first years. Her language is music - in all imaginable readings.
Mariana Palacios & Ernesto Pereyra
Mariana and artist Ernesto sign responsible for the lion's share of product photography but also a lot of vinyl transfers.
Vera Palaoro
Vera brought in her talent, energy and dedication as part of the introductory phase of TangoTunes, especially in the arrangement arrangements of the first collection.
Martin Haslehner
Martin supported TangoTunes with his expertise in areas such as cartridges, tonearms, and optional recording techniques, for example the use of tube amplifiers. Even though these were ultimately not implemented, the insights gained and his input were valuable for the development of TangoTunes.
